Betterworks is a HR Software powerhouse, selling at the Enterprise level. They asked us to create a video that married high level value proposition with real product demo to provide insight into the user environment. As the only animator on my team, I was responsible for crafting the storyboards according to the script and brand guidelines, building all files, and animating
the entire video.

Big Picture: Building Betterworks' Motion Style

Betterworks had yet to expand their robust visual brand into motion. They partnered with us not only to build this brand anthem video, but to also build out their animation style. Below is the video style board I developed for some of their most common content use cases. Their brand is all about the whole being greater than the sum of its parts, as the Betterworks gives HR professionals the comprehensive view needed for success. The core motion tenants are
as follows:

Brand Circle as the Protagonist

The Betterworks circle has personality through motion and takes the viewer from scene to scene, re-emphasizing the brand.

A Two-Layered Universe

The background elements add framing and ambient motion, and set the tone. The foreground is our brand circle, product imagery, and text. The background elements 

Dynamic Togetherness

The brand circle can unravel into the line, the line can unravel into it's 3 parts, but it always comes back together.
