KSA Transportation Advance
I was lead designer on the Black Math team tasked by Boston's Kendall Square Association to create an identity for their new Transportation Advance initiative. This multi-modal program spans across trains, bikes, and cars and encourages people to use all three to commute more efficiently.
Branding + Signage
To stay cohesive with KSA's current visual language, our sketch phase began with words, mottos, and imagery associated with their existing identity. We then took these elements and built out their brand from there.
Sketch Phase
Logo

The final Transportation Advance logo was constructed from their existing KSA logo. Some individual elements were repurposed to create an arrow logo to represent forward motion and innovation.
Brand Book
The logomark to informed pattern and visual language for the brand. The arrow shape is echoed throughout and the three unique line forms were used to represent the three modes of transportation incorporated in this initiative (car, bike, transit). All these elements are touched on in the brand book below.
